Privacy policy
This policy explains what is collected when you browse verifiedresearch.in, book a call, or become a research client; why it is collected; who it is shared with; and what you can ask for.
Verified Research is the research practice of Tushar Gerg, SEBI-registered Research Analyst (Reg. No. INH000027654). In this policy, "I", "me" and "my" mean Tushar Gerg.
The short version. This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. The server keeps request logs, with no IP address and no browser details. If you book a call, I keep the details you give and a record of the call, because SEBI requires it. If you become a client, I collect the KYC details SEBI requires. I never sell your data, there is no mailing list, and nothing is shared with my consulting business.
1. Who I am
Tushar Gerg, SEBI-registered Research Analyst, Reg. No. INH000027654.
Registered office: A-302, Plumeria Garden Estate, Omicron Sector 3, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, 201308
Email: tushar0708@gmail.com · Phone: +91 9997976746
I also run a separate analytics consulting business. Data collected on this site is used only for research services and is never shared with it.
2. What I collect
When you browse the site
- Server logs. The time, the page requested, the status of the request and the referring page. No IP address and no browser details are recorded. Kept for up to 365 days, then deleted automatically.
- Page-use measurement. None. This site does not measure how its pages are used.
- Fonts and scripts. Everything is served from this site. No fonts, scripts or other files are loaded from third parties.
When you book a call
- What you type into the booking form: your name, phone number, email address, organisation (if you give one) and your research question (if you give one), plus the slot you pick.
- A record of the call. SEBI requires Research Analysts to keep records of conversations about research services with prospective clients, before onboarding.
If you become a research client
- Name, address, PAN, date of birth and the other KYC details SEBI requires, fetched from or checked with a KYC Registration Agency (KRA).
- The terms you accepted and when, the agreed fee, invoices and payment records.
- Your research question, your correspondence with me, and the reports delivered to you.
I do not collect your trading, demat or bank login details, passwords or OTPs, and I will never ask for them.
3. Cookies
This site sets no cookies.
4. Why I am allowed to hold it
- Your consent. You give consent when you book a call. You can withdraw it at any time, but records SEBI requires me to keep will be kept for the period below.
- To provide the service you asked for. Arranging the call, and delivering research if you become a client.
- To meet legal obligations. SEBI requires KYC records, records of interactions with clients and prospective clients, and fee records.
- Basic security. Server logs, to keep the site running and protect it from misuse.
5. Who I share it with
I do not sell your data or share it for advertising. I share only what each of these needs to do its job:
- KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs). To fetch or verify KYC details of clients.
- SEBI, BSE (as RAASB) and auditors. When the law, an inspection or the annual compliance audit requires it.
- DigitalOcean (Bangalore). Hosts the server and its data.
- Google (Gmail). My email provider, used to send booking confirmations and to write to you.
The call itself is held by phone or by a video call agreed with you.
6. How long I keep it
- Server logs. Up to 365 days, then deleted automatically.
- Booking details and call records. Five years from the call, as SEBI requires for records of interactions with prospective clients. If a dispute is raised, they are kept until it is resolved.
- Client KYC, terms, fee and correspondence records. For as long as SEBI rules require, at least five years after the service ends.
7. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask me to:
- tell you what personal data I hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
- erase data I no longer need, except records SEBI requires me to keep;
- withdraw a consent you gave;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot.
Write to tushar0708@gmail.com. I will reply within 7 (seven) business working days.
8. Security
Pages are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Booking records are stored on the server with access limited to the analyst.
9. Grievances
Grievance officer: Tushar Gerg · tushar0708@gmail.com · +91 9997976746
I resolve grievances within 7 (seven) business working days. If you are not satisfied, you can escalate a complaint about the research service to SEBI's SCORES platform, or a complaint about your personal data to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Changes to this policy
If what is collected, or why, changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed. Material changes will be announced on the site.
